OVERVIEW
This project explores how typographic anatomy and scientific visual language can intersect to tell a story. I centered my research around the typeface Caslon, designed by William Caslon in the 18th century.
I studied Caslon’s letterform anatomy, historical context, and visual system. Drawing from the aesthetics of scientific diagrams, I designed a poster series that reflects the tension between structure and expression. I focused on highlighting how typography can convey order, hierarchy, and humanism.
